Arduin II stats:

Battle Factor (BF): 1 for every 2 HP, plus 50 base.
HP: 18-90
MRS: 7%
AV: 10(AC 4)
Speed: 90′ ground, can hop 15′; 400′ air.
CF: 10-17.
Number: 1-8.

Attacks: On the ground, they bite for 1-6 (the smallest) to 2d12 (the larger), plus 1d8 to 10d8 venom. They may also use their tongue to snare a victim and draw him in to be bitten. In this case, if the victim fails to escape at the next opportunity, he is automatically hit for full bite and venom damage on the Hell Hopper’s next action, andhas a 20% chance of suffering a RCH. On the Hell Hopper’s subsequent action, the victim will be swallowed, suffering full bite damage again as well as 3d8 acid for that action and each subsequent action, until he is completely dissolved (200% real damage). In the air, they buffet opponents with their wings (1d3+1), and will also bite, though they rarely use their venom in the air. They never attack in the air with their tongue.

They are the sky mounts of the Gatwani.

They are immune to acids, poisons, and venoms and save vs fire (to zero damage!) 50% of the time. They have infravision and regular to 300′ and also taste so bad that characters that even have the ability “taste bad to monsters” wont taste bad to a Hell Hopper – unless the victim is immune to acid!

The Octorilla:  A Cthulhu type Hulking, Gorilla-like creature with strands of thick tentacles clustered around the shoulder and sides instead of arms; it is a classic Arduin nightmare! (Check out the OSA and OSR stats below!)

Quantity is one Fantasy Monster miniature, manufactured in one piece. Designed for use in 25-32 mm miniature ranges. Painted miniature is for reference only; the miniature comes unpainted as a raw metal casting.

Crafted by: William Watt

Reference painting by: William Watt (Green arms) and Octorilla (Purple arms) painted courtesy of Thomas Grable

Arduin I stats:

Looks like a huge black-furred ape 8′ tall with a bright red parrot-like beak, four yellow, sucker-covered tentacles instead of arms, and glaring red eyes.

HP: 68
AC: 6 (+5 DF)
CF: 17

NOTES: These carnivorous horrors usually haunt mangrove swamps or other “wet” areas where there is an abundance of trees and foliage. They are not truely amphibious but do not mind water and in fact, frequently hide in it to better ambush passers by. Each tentacle can strike for 8 points or wrap about a victim and crush for 4 points per melee round. Their rending beak can do 6 points of damage as well, but they seldom bite if a victim is still alive and kicking (15% chance). They fear fire fire greatly.
